Has it really only been a week..

Has it really only been a week...
One week into #phimsioztrip! We started with a fun filled four days with a rowdy crowd (ha ha!!) at Bonny Hills Big 4 Caravan Park @ Rainbow Beach.

With 25 kids, 16 adults, we had a huge presence at this "little" big 4 . The  awesome facilities and logical layout meant that the kids could freely roam around and occupy themselves safely!

Achievements:

  • Two runs (one road and one beach) and a group fitness session.
  •  25 kids all agreeing to watch the same movie on multiple occasions !!!!
  •  A hole in one on the putt-putt course by Emma!

Favourite activities: Putt putt and rainbow beach (Grace), putt putt (Jai), putt putt and the go-Karts (Emma), Beach and bike riding (ophet), sitting and chatting to friends that we will miss (Jacs).

Next onto our last stop in N.S.W, the sleepy and scenic little town of Iluka. We arrived planning on staying for 2 nights and decided to stay for 3. The Clarence Head Caravan Park is, in comparison to the Big 4, very simple, yet so well equipped. The kitchen has been fully renovated and will be hard to beat for set up and cleanliness (we will let you know by the end of the trip). The park had a family room with cable TV, games, pin ball mahines, books and a coffee/hot chocolate machine.

On Thursday, we decided to catch the Ferry to meet friends (Dave, Janine, Ashton and Alana) in Yamba. We had an awesome day body surfing and boogie boarding. Grace LOVES the ocean and is very game. Jai loves being on a board and Em is happy doing whatever the others are !!!! Friday the Haggart family came over to the sleepier side to have a walk to a playground and a BBQ lunch. Thanks for visiting us.
Two runs in Iluka, one 5km one and a bigger 8km run with stops to take some of the pictures below.
